Child trafficking networks, illegal adoptions perfected with the help of state representatives. This is what Romania looks like before the "big step" towards Europe. The one who painted it "in this way is the Secretary of State, the head of the Romanian Office for Adoptions (ORA), Theodora Bertzi.
In just a few months, three indigenous counties (Buzau, Oradea and Craiova) were in the spotlight of the authorities and the press. I know the market. My opinion is that they have taken care of adoptions in the past and have remained interested in this subject. I could say that they are those who have made international adoptions in this field. In Romania, there was an external children's market, now it has closed, but it is trying to be done, as far as possible, on the internal market, "the ORA boss told us.
According to the Secretary of State, ORA chief, Theodora Bertzi, "there is a network, the facts prove it. The police started to be active for a month. from the country. Because without the involvement of the medical personnel, the children cannot be taken out of hospitals, "said Bertzi.
She also said that 15% of the adopted adoptions in Romania are illegal, since the child is given by the natural mother or by another person, who came into the possession of the child by illicit ways, directly in the care of the adoptive parents, thus breaking the law.
