Goethe-Institut Bucharest will invite you on Tuesday, November 5th, at 4:00 pm, at the National Technical Museum "Dimitrie Leonida", at the opening of the exhibition "Feel Mathematics!". The event, addressed to everyone between the ages of 8 and 80, is organized in collaboration with the "Mathematikum" Museum in Giessen, with the support Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Germany.
The exhibition proposes a unique approach to a science that many consider too accurate to be even fun. Visitors will discover, through the game, practically useful information about abstract concepts. The exhibits are not only achievable, but they become real challenges for those who want to put their minds to the test: to compose a puzzle, to build a replica of the Da Vinci bridge, to look in parallel mirrors, to rediscover the simple laws of geometry assembling various forms and many others.
Twenty ingenious exhibits await their visitors, representing a selection of the most popular experiments in the collection "Mathematikum" Museum in Giessen, Germany, the first interactive museum in the world dedicated to mathematics. The exhibition was created 10 years ago and has enjoyed success, recording over 1.5 million visitors who were fascinated by the world of mathematics.
The exhibition "Feels the math!" runs from November 5 to 24, at the National Technical Museum "Dimitrie Leonida", Str. Candiano Popescu no. 2, (Carol I Park), Bucharest, from Tuesday to Sunday, 10: 30-18: 00. Access is free.
